Silk Caps and Bunny

Hey Robin,
Oooh, a post by you. Too cool. See, she does too exist! And pictures too! Yeah! Pearl's so cute!

I'll check the photo size when I get home, but the new domain should be able to handle good size pics, once we switch. Pictures are just one of the many reasons we decided to buy a domain.

The silk around a toilet paper roll looks like a good idea. I'll wait and see what you say after you try spinning from them. For readers who have never spun silk before, silk is very very sticky and sticks to itself really easily. Which means, if a spinner is not careful, she or he could end up with a very expensive tangled pile of silk. Been there, done that.

The pattern Robin refers to is one she purchased for a shawl recently, but unfortunately the name of the pattern place escapes me at present. Robin, try where Dan and I stayed. Maybe you put it on the desk or on the fiber shelves. Um, hopefully you will have better luck finding the pattern than you did the little orange bag. Big huge grin over here!

Day lilies? Uh oh. Robin is obsessed with day lilies right now. She has some beautiful specimens out front in her yard, newly planted AND newly crossed with otherday lilies in her garden. She's hoping for lots of seeds this year. She did her research on pollinating them too. It was like a mini-biologist came out in her. Very neat.

Alright, other pictures this weekend, since Robin posted Pearl. Maybe a photo of my cute nephew or something else, like my craft closet. Sigh, I didn't start packing that up yet. But that will happen this weekend for sure.

Oh yeah, and can we say DUH! I had a duh moment today. I don't need inked paper to pack up the fiber, I need it for a scroll saw and other items that are hard. Sigh, sometimes I surprise myself how dumb I can be.

Happy fibering!
