What Have I Been Doing . . .
I know, no blogging for a while there. What have I been doing? Applying for jobs!
What am I doing fiber wise? I've been working on a silk blend sweater with a cabled front. I hope to have the pictures of that up soon. I'll be up to the underarms in about 9 rows or so, but it is taking longer than I had hoped.
I am also spinning some more of my rainbow roving that I got from Ellen, a fellow Twisted Thread Fiberer! I asked her to dye me some more roving because I was worried I wouldn't have enough for this vest I have in mind. She did! I'll take pictures of it soon and show my splitting process too! It's beautiful, but has a bit more yellow and red in it than the first roving. I had two to choose from! I can't wait to see what this one will look like spun up. I am working on the last skein of the first roving.
