Mid-move Update
Well, it's mid-move for my spouse and I. We're at the new place and unpacking.
Before we moved down to SC, Robin pointed out to my spouse that I could have a whole fiber/craft room (i.e. the third bedroom). My husband, needless to say, wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea of me having a whole room. Especially since this is a temporary rental place, and he was worried I would grow to fill said room. I had a closet before, so a room, well. . . think of all the things you can put in there. I think he would also miss me in the office, so for now, my sewing machines reside in the office with him. That's good since my newest sewing machine and my computer are two things I use together. And, a bonus is that I get to be near him too.
My craft room will hold my fiber, wood working supplies, and other miscellaneous supplies for now. It's also the guest room and my parents, who are visiting right now, love having space to put their luggage and a queen sized air bed. The office used to also double as the guest room and was pretty tight, so we're pretty happy with this third bedroom too.
No new fiber oriented stuff, except if you live in NC or SC and you have never been to the following stores, Robin and I really enjoyed them.
Happy fibering!

- Quilter's Gallery -- Charlotte, NC. This store is moving, but they have lovely patterns, classes, kits, and help. The staff were very helpful too. Robin is taking a class this August and I'm eyeing one, but I have too much on my schedule this fall.
- Mary Jo's Cloth Store -- Gastonia, NC. This is the ultimate fabric store, containing the widest selection of fabrics we (mother, Robin, and I) have ever seen, and together we have seen some large fabric stores.
Happy fibering!
