Sockapalooza 4 socks
Robin and I joined Sockapalooza 4. This is my second one and her third of fourth. I can't recall. I haven't been posting, although I have been busy crafting. I'll post the socks first, then post on the other items I have been making.
My sockpal socks are knit from Cherry Tree Hill Supersock in Moody Blues colorway. The color is not exact in the photos -- it's a darker blue in person. My sockpal wanted anklets and I really wanted to knit the River Rapids sock pattern by sockbug. The pattern is well written and easy to follow. In fact, it was such a nice pattern that Robin decided to try it out too. She knit it up in a purple colorway. I can't recall if the yarn was also Cherry Tree Hill. We went together to Baskets of Yarn to get the yarn and she helped me choose the colorway for my pal.

And finally, I liked the pattern so much that I started my own socks, but not anklets. I'm knitting these up in some yarn I purchased at SAFF this past year from Three Waters Farm.
The socks have a bit more green than I want in them, so I'm going to dye up some yarn in river colors and knit another pair of these. I like these a lot.

Hello,
I finished your socks and when you see them they will make you laugh in a good way:D
I also tucked in some goodies for you to enjoy.
Your sockapalooooza 4 pal:D
Cool, can't wait sockpal. Thanks for knitting away!
Those are nifty looking though the pattern seems to get a little lost in your green ones. Maybe the pattern is a bit more clear in person?
Seanna, Unfortunately the pattern does get a bit lost, which is why I may frog these. I'm still debating though. I love the pattern and have plans to do the pattern in some serene blue/green/sand yarn.
