Information on Clicking Needles Banner

Robin and I are still working on designing this website. Robin is also currently working on a design project for a contest and will have photos and information on her project at a later date, after she enters her project in the contest.

I am currently working on a pale yellow baby blanket for a special little niece, born last November. I am almost finished with the project and will have pictures of it when it is complete, including information on the great yarn I used.

Unfortunately, what should have been an easy project, ended up a bit more difficult as I added quite a few details to the original pattern, making it more complicated. I do this a lot, make patterns more complicated. I will have more on the baby blanket when I am finished htough, so stay tuned for that. It should be finished this week!

The banner is a digital picture of yarn that Robin and I handspun, most of which we hand-dyed using various methods, including Wilton Icing dyes (used to color cake icing), Kool-Aid ™ packets, and Country Classic dyes. A few skeins are dyed from other individuals, but most are hand-dyed by the either one of us. We either dyed the roving before spinning the yarn or dyed the yarn after spinning. Between the two of us we have tried several different dyeing methods and would be happy to share our experiences. Well, that is all for now, back to working on the website.
